Why is PGR3 so special?

Hi guys, I needed a different game to play and i never played PGR3 before and I just bought it. I am not having very much fun on it. I surprisingly like NFS: Carbon better and i don't really like NFS much anyways. Well i was just wondering why people thought it was a good game. Maybe it will open my eyes after reading some opinions. I know its an older 360 game but old games can still be fun...I just don't find this one too great.

I play the game trying to perfect my driving style, I wanna get good for forza 2. It depends on the attitude you play it with. if you play it with the I just want to race attitude it works better.

at first i thought it was a good game, the graphics, the physics, the style were all great

but this game doesn't seem deep, i liked pgr2

for some reason pgr3 doesn't live up to it

i think upgrading, modding, or "career" style play is more my style

i like the games but theres a drawback and that is that u start off with fast cars. i loved in pgr2 that u start with like the mini cooper and all those bad cars and work ur way up. but pgr3 is still a great game for me anywayzero5link

PGR3 is a pretty good game.  It just takes some practice to learn how to drift.  The drifting is way over exaggerated but it’s fun once you get the hang of it.  If it’s still too realistic for you I would suggest Burnout Revenge (360).  It’s just a great arcade racer.  *NITROUS BOOST* nilemonitor

PGR3 is fun in an arcadey way, its not an arcade game like RR but that suits me not really bein an arcade racing fan. Its not the deepest game by a long shot, infact it does start to feel very repetitive goin through the same thing over and over just in a different city but as a launch game its definitely worth a go, even more so now u can buy it on the budget range.

If u want an indepth racing game u could pick up a copy of Forza 1 and play that 'til number 2 drops for the 360 in may this year.

          The new steering wheel made PGR3 new again  but I can't wait for Forza2 !!

          Try using in car view and sticking with it - offers the best driving experience.

Stop driving like it's any old racer and DRIFT my man! This game is all about style. If your not going into every turn sideways than your not playing the game properly!
