Why is Sonic 4, Ep. 1 Listed as "NEW GAME" Today?

Has anyone seen Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episode 1 listed as a "new game" on the 360 dashboard and gmaes list today? Whats up with this?

Is there a new low price? Or did they pay microsoft to bump the game back up to new for the anniversary or something? Is there something new about it that I don't know yet? Whats the deal?

I saw this as well, and as far as I can tell is that it's because there was a price change. I believe it used to be 1200 points. Still does not warrant it to be in the new games category.

I figured it would be because of a price change or something. Obviously some stunt was pulled by SEGA to push it to the top for the 20th anniversary, lol.

Is it worth getting? I saw someone had a cool Sonic avatar costume from the game. I'm not sure it thats enough to make me buy it after the awesome Batman avatar costumes just came out. lolol

Thanks for the advice man. Yea i'm def thinking about it soon, and yea it's basically confirmed that because of the price drop it was pushed back up to the top of the list. I don't think all games get that treatment, but for the Sonic anniversary, i'm sure SEGA had a little chatty chat with Micrsoft to get it done. lol
