Why Is The 360 So Loud?

I just got my 360 about 4 hours ago, when I'm playing I notice that it is very loud.. Why is that? Is mine abnormal?

yes mine is pretty darn loud

i think some are louder then normal but i dont think it's anything to worry about

trust me, the sound means the fans are on and the discs are being read......just be thankful for that!NOD_Grindking

It mainly the DVD drive that makes that noise.DarkRider23

Ya it really is the drive....if you take the disc out and sit at main screen...you'll notice its nowhere near as loud
