why is this happening now?

so we recently changed are wireless security for are internet from WEP to WPA and now my xbox router wont work im guessing it has somthing to do with the security change... i have the xbox original router by the way. please help :/

I had this same problem a while back. Unfortunately, the old Xbox Adapter will no longer work for WPA. You need to either buy the 360 wireless adapter or plug your xbox directly into your router. Another potential option is to change your connection security back to WEP.
