Why is Too Human HATED?

I dont understand it. It doesn't have a controversial story or racist themes or anything like that and yet it provokes true HATRED. There are millions of worse games out there and yet there are ppl that dont want anyone to like it.

What gives?

I dont really care if you didnt like the demo or thought the controls/camera were horrible, thats got nothing to do with this topic... I am just asking what it is hated because I've never seen anything like this.

its cuz ppl don't like the way it is controlled with the RS, plus there is no self control camera angle ppl are mad, and make up some stuff about story being boring and all that lol IMO

I think because it's been in development for so long and Denis made that stupid bet with gamers that it would be a triple-A game.

Personally I don't hate Too Human, I just think it's simply mediocre.

The game has a bad story line, PS2/Xbox graphics ,Horrid game play, i was surprised that Gamespot gave it a 5.5 i was guessing 3.0 or less

A lot of it is the fact that people can't think for themselves, and they take everyone elses opinion. Some people legitimately don't like it (And that's fine), but to hate a game for no reason is strange.

The whole flop/fanboy thing is getting really old though. This isn't System Wars, I enjoy good games...not predicting flops in my sig.

Getting tired of it myself...They had one for GTA and MGS...they need to spare us with this now.

As stated in the opening post, I dont care if people liked or disliked it... I was just wondering why it stirs up such emotion.... so far only 1 person seems to have offered any insight.

I think it has fanboyites disease. There were so many people who were saying that it was gonna such a great game and then the demo comes and people didnt like it too much, and the flaming started. People who didnt like it stated so and then the fanboys started jumping on them for saying they didnt like it, so now that is isnt doing too good in the rateings department all the people who didnt like it are jumping up and saying a big HA HA, and now its blown up.Xaron_Jamis

Partially, but a 7.5 from IGN isn't exactly a haha in your face...it's just Assassins Creed all over again.

well considering every post I read in the last week or so where someone talked about how they disliked the demo and how dissapointed they were, some Too Human fanatic would come in and talk about how the previous poster didnt know how to play it correctly or wouldnt give it a chance, or even how they were stupid and ignorant for letting a demo persuade them into not getting it. That may have had something to do with it. I know i get irritated when i express my dislike over something and some a$$ feels the need to tell me and everyone else how wrong I am or how diluted my taste in games is for it.

Other than the clowns who dont even have enough English comprehension to read and understand the topic explanation, there are some good answers but this seems to make the most sense so far. I think it may have something to do with the enormous games drought we've just been through as well. Too Human was the first trickle from the dam so it was open to more debate as well.... which adds more fuel to your explanation.

I've never let a review (TV, magazine, online or anything) influence my game choice so I am picking it up tomorrow (day late here) and I am sure i will get more than 5.5 enjoyment out of it :P

People who like the game seem to complain more about people disliking the game than people who dislike the game voice their opinions... if that makes any sense.

Just give it a rest. This is a forum for discussing games, Too Human is a game, it has been discussed, the general consensus is that it sucks or is mediocre at best. Get over it.
