Its because he's got a big ego and anyone who would want him in their game would have to pay WAAAY too much for it. Its all about royalties and all that.
it has to do with the contracts he signs, he can only be on certain card makers cards and probably the same with games. He would get a lot of royalties though and that could be a reason.

Well I played the NBA Live games when MJ was still around with the Bulls and he was never in those games but they had a fictional player rated 99 and had number 99 stand in for him. He had his stats and height and stuff like that. He was simply the best player in the game and if you think people use lebron too much, MJ would get used so much and you would rule the game with him. Besides, NBA Live sucks now.Â
