i got an elite the otha day, i been playin on a a phillips tv, and in the settins, it allows me to select 1080p, though when i put it through the hdmi onma a 50" pioneer hdtv, it wont actually let me even select it to try, any help would be appreciated

does your 50inch pioneer hdtv support 1080? btw what model is your pioneer hdtv?

check the tv manual. some tv's can do 1080p via component cables.

the thing is, the phillips aint even hd, but the pioneer one is, i only put the av cables in, and it said i could go to 1080p
