Why not put Smash Bros on the 360?

Yes but the fact of the matter is they won't get much from the deal. They get like what 25% or the most maybe around 35%. Most of thoese deal just involve them lend thier rights however most profits will go to Mircrosoft and they lovse money in the long run. Exclusives sells systems! Lose and exclusive then you lovse alot of sales on your Consoles.

Plus the fact of the matter is that it doesn't belong on Mircosoft. I mean you don't Master chief in the game! YOu have Mario (is exclusive and will never sell out unless nintendo stops making systems like sega). They have old school nintendo charcters and Ninntendo and mircrosoft don't do godo with games. Case in point:

Goldeneye (Nintendo 64 version) arcade remake. Microsoft had to make a deal to get the rights and Nintendo said no. Now if they said no to a franchise they don't even use why would they give one of thier biggest game to Mircosoft?

That's the point! Why get just $60 (which would then be split with MS) when they could get more (about $300) by making you buy the console too? You see why they would be insane to give up an advantage like that?

A very important reason, if not the most, to buy a console is for the exlusives that come with it. If every game was spread out to all 3 consoles (ignoring the specs), then people would really only need to buy one console- and kill the other two. Smash brothers is on the Wii. say you really want it, thats a sale of a wii and the game, as opposed to just the game. Companies with the discretion to sell on multiple platforms are the ones that don't produce consoles, maximizing their profit.

This does bring up another idea though- A brawl or similar fighting game using the characters from xbox. (Master Cheif, Fenix) maybe even games from other companies that sold on the xbox like ubisoft. Not as much as of a character base, but still.

I think this guy is just playin with us but I'll give it a try.

The charecters in SSBB are Nintendo's (except Snake) so they won't let any-one have them until they go the way of Sega. And besides if they do bring it to the 360 then you would have to add some Microsoft characters which I can only think of one Master Chief. Cliffy-B (the arrogant moron he is) thinks the Wii is stupid so he won't give them Gears people, and that's about it for Microsoft guys or even interesting third party guys (Frank West just doesn't seem suited to the game)

Then there is the most obvious reason, why would you give your best and most anticipated game to your competitor. If you look at the sales records around the release of SSBB Wii sales went through the roof. If it was mulit-platform they would lose almost all of those Wii sales and they would LOSE MONEY IF THEY DID THAT.

the stupity of society always amazes me. I mean seriously it's one thing to wish something like this would happen, just like I wish they'd release metal gear solid essentials and 4 on the 360 cause I will never buy a ps3 most likely but no matter how much I sit here and wish it would happen I never actually think that it will. It's even more of a deal with SSBB as it's a first party game, you will never see that on any other system, regardless of how much it owuld increase says. Nintendo wants you to buy their system for that game. Fact is if you want it bad enough you will pay for it anyway. Besides it's not like the Wii costs that much anyway.

heres the deal buddy: Millions of people bought their Wii to play Smash Bros. Now lets say that Smash Bros was also available on Ps3 and 360. There would be no reason for people to buy NINTENDO's console if they could get the game on a console they already own. Exclusives are what lure people to a certain console. Sure Nintendo would make a little money if Smash Bros was available on 360 but they would lose huge amounts of CONSOLE sales. Do you get it now? Just because you only have 60 dollars, its not Nintendos problem....your one customer they are losing and thats nothing to them
