emo is short for emotional....it can mean anything that has to do with such. it was given to the scene kids as a nickname for being lame, but everyone seems to have forgotten this

For one thing you can't be EMO if you want to have fun. If your EMO you are prob....

• Whine alot

Well, if you ask me. And this is my opinion, and that only. Calling someone emo or "scene" or whatever the **** yas call it. Its all pointless. Some people like wearing all black, so..who cares. Some people like pop music some like heavy stuff. So.

I myself am into heavy stuff and punkish and what you people would call "emo" but out of it all, what does it matter. We all have our own likes and dislikes, somewhere along the line people decided to slap a huge label on people who like darker clothing and like different music types than you.

As for people saying "emos" cut themselves and stuff, sure...some people do that. But that doesn't make them "emo". Some people are so down and out on life because of the crap hand they were dealt, family problems when they were younger. Someone close to them died. Sure taking that out on yourself by the means of a blade on the skin may seem wrong to others. But perhaps its a way to make themselves feel like they are still alive.

Yeah i know, you will hit me for the last bit. Do something else to feel alive. I really think people just need to stop being so narrow minded about everything and look at this on a more broader perspective.

Say back to me what you like. I just felt like voicing a bit of my opinion on the matter.
