why should i buy another Xbox 360

should i buy another xbox 360 because i have already bought 2, both brand new and they didn't work. the problem is that i really want a next gen console and the ps3 is too expensive and the wii is rubbish. so i would go for the xbox because of all the fantastic games. but i don't know if i could take another faulty xbox what should i do?
