Why should I get a 360?

If you got the cash get Bioshock, Mass Effect, Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, adn Call Of Duty 4. If you casual game like me then that'll hold you for like 1 year and a 1/2 or 2 years. They'll all gonna be great...

But if your broke like me then just get Mass Effect... this is all assuming you're gonna get it...

I own a wii, but I have been wondering for a long time wether i should get a 360 or not? There has been a lot of hype for recent games and i would like to be convinced to get one.Dudeman480

you don't deserve one if we have to convice you...the main reason why you should get a 360 is because you actually want it.

Yes you should consider buying one

1. Awesome games (Gears Of War, COD 4 Halo 3)

2.Awesome box live features (marketplace can download game content movies and music videos)

and cant go wrong with taikng a chance with one

i own a wii too... but i got a 360 1 month ago... my reasons were:
- Great games library (is really amazing how many good games does this console have)
- XBOX LIVE (definitely the best online multiplayer console by far)
- In my personal case, because REAL sports games like NBA 2k8 or fifa 08, you wont find something like that on wii

I recently got a 360, and I'm happy with what I've purchased.

Only problems I have are:

1- it's friggin' loud as hell

2- If you don't like shooters you're outta luck

3- If you play online, a lot of people tend to be stuck up and just not fun. Too competitive (looks at Halo3). But this can be fixed if you have friends on Live.

Other than that, I play Oblivion nonstop, keeps me 100% satisfied.

best online features and communtity(fact)

cheaper than ps3(fact)

most AAA shooters(fact)

get a premiun bundle (best bundle quality/price compared to the others)

and Mass effect, Halo3, Assassins Creed, Gears of War, Oblivion, Cod4, Ninja GaidenII, GTAIV, Brothers in Arms, Forza2, PGR3+4

Haha, that was some great dissuasion there buddy. You could list some reasons.

There certainly is a lot of threads like this and I could care less whether you get a 360 or not, but if you want some reasons for buying the system, look at some the games that have and will be coming out this year and next. Certainly an impressive line up. I've never liked the MGS series anyway nor do I think that a PS3 is worth buying for Lair, Heavenly Sword and Eye of Judgement. In the end, it's your choice and don't let us persuade you, or people like hwardrocks dissaude you.

Just get one, most of the the games are AA, and has most AAA games on any platform i think

The online os the best any console has to offer and the 360 has the most and best games and it's also the cheapest.

its only cheaper in "quality for your money" terms. Wii is cheaper
