I just took a look at my rep and I am now at a whopping 41% unavoided, but I never act like a jerk on live, and the only time I quit is if I think the lag is to much in Gears, thats it. But most of the negative is for unsporting, I dont do anything unsporting online in the slightest, and I only speak to friends, never in front of strangers because most just start an argument. Honestly the Live community is starting to blow, I play World of Warcraft and never get crap like this, I have been playing a lot of Gears lately, so times the amount of morons by 600 and I guess it explains the rep, anyone else got a bad rep for no reason?
Right now I have 50% avoid. Funny thing is, I quit once and my Quit Early is higher than the rest. I do get unsporting and agressive as well, but I believe it's because I'm a frag tagger in Gears of War which seems to tick people off a lot. I never talk trash but rather just agree with what people say when they insult me and they seem to get even more mad. I guess I'll never understand the Live community aswell.
Probably because your too good for them. Thats what happened to me. I pretty much had perfect rep until people started giving me bad rep for some ridiculous things. And btw u sound ook like you might be a female as well so chances are you might have ran into some sexists idiots also.
lol my rep went from 14% avoidance to 36% in one game after i killed a clan 5-1 after the rest of my team had left with a mk23 in rb6...it was the best id ever played and i got bad rep...
i was playing Vegas, and was in this room where everyone was going for the Master of Ceremonies Achievement (the one where you host a 16=player room). I got in there by random, but it was fun, so i stayed. Well, one guy, after he got his achievement, left the room. Noone was supposed to leave until after everyone got the achievement. So EVERYONE in the room sent him bad rep for either quit early or unsportsmanlike... can't remember, but anyways he ended up with...
HALF A STAR. It was the most hillarious thing that's happened on xbox live for me. i guess you had to be there to get a good laugh.
i have 80% avoided..im trying to get 90% at least...all i do is go into a gears ranked match with one of my buddys and talk smack.then when were winning i make fun of my teammates so they give me bad rep too
I've been avoided repeatedly for "quitting" when my 360 freezes playing Gears and Halo 3 - most annoying but there isn't much I can do about it. I also got an "aggressive". I'm definitely one of the cooler heads on XBL, I never swear or shout at people online. I really think that I got an aggressive on that game because I repeatedly killed the same kid who kept charging at me underground on Snowbound. I had a shotgun - he never figured out that I was waiting just behind a shield door and shooting him just as he came through it. It really is an obvious tactic, but he just kept falling for it. He would even fire at me while he charged me - with the shield door between us! Arrg! You being overly stupid is not the same as me being overly aggressive - of course I kept killing you!
Personally, I think that the profile name should go on record when somebody leaves 'bad rep' or anything for that matter. It's too easy for someone to anonymously leave unjust feedback. So in that regard I just ignore it. I've never looked at someone elses 'rep' either, Gamers that pay fair and competitive, no problems......the bad gamers, I just try and avoid.Â
The rep system is so flawed. I rarely ever use a mic and i have 50% trash talk...and no one really gives good rep, its all bad. But it was said before just ignore rep.
