why will my ipod only play songs from letters A to L on my xbox?

but here is whats wrong it will play songs that start wid the letter L or further if i click on the song it will play every song but if i put it on shuffle if wont play a song by itself after the letter L and also if i just put it on so it just plays the songs normally (going down the list) when it gets to L it goes back up to songs begining wid A! wtf. so like i said the only way to play songs like metallica etc is if i personally click on it myself but then it just keeps playing that song can any1 help me ?!

maybe you need to install the "optional media update" from the game marketplace

My Sony MP3 player does that aswell.

it is limited to the first 100 songs of your mp3 player.
