Why you dont want 14 years olds on live.

I can tell you are one of them by that mistake...

And finally because they think they are all tough talkin smack on a microphone with your HIGH-PITCHED voices. YOU ARE 14-15 YEAR OLDS! You havent even been near to getting a license, owning a car, or dealing with situations in bars. Talk your smack with your buddys... things we clearly are not.

If i had a kid as mouthy as you, he would be given the spanking of his life. Punishment works for all those who does not believe it does.

I find the Government discriminates against the Gaming population all the time with these brutal laws and bills trying to be passed.

Yet they still do. Its the world we live in... its not fair. Get used to it.  

I'm 14 11/12, and I am never annoying when it comes to communications on Xbox Live, the reason being I don't communicate that often.

Alot of them, not all, are extremely annoying and arrogant.

But i think they should be allowed to be on XBL, its quite simple to mute them if you dont want to deal with them

WOW YOU KILLED ME... wait i could careless...

And then they brag about it for the entire match lol... (again... not saying all young ones... but most do)

That is normally how people do on LIVE...the just rable on about nothing trying to be annoying.

thanks captain spell check, itsa childish sh*t like this that makes me hate kids, just because you learned about the 3 types of there today in class doesnt mean you can correct me, if i gave a sh*t then i wouldnt of used the location one and used the they are one. better hit the books so you can word check everyone else

they want attention. If you retaliate, thats what they want cuz their immature. Just don't say anything. They lose then. Im 15 and yes their annoying but they shouldn't be banned 

If a 14 year old is hosting a GEARS game they boot everyone who kills them then start glitching on the one guy that is left then. The voice is annoying and the amount they get get worked up is even more so, then comes the string of swear words in a shrill high pitch voice that could break glass. They leave you bad feedback then quit. I would say that is a pretty typical game with a 14 year old.

Here is the solution, make an option somewhere along the lines of "play only with people around my age group and up", or if you really wanted to be frank about it "play with no one under the age of 15." Make that an option in the Guide menu of the 360 and problem solved.

So since theres a poll about 14 year olds on live, I decided to make one on why you dont or want them on live. I think 14 year olds make up alot of the people on live, and anyones make it a little more interesting, for example you have a trash talking punk and you can go hunt him down and kill him 50 times :P. But anyways not all of them are annoying. And you should really generalize 14 year olds either, there are some old people who are annoying too. And im 14 and I dont talk unless talked to or if im saying something important. And anyways just mute them if you dont like it or something, when im on live and im not playing anything important I dont even put in my mic. So pretty much everyone was a kid once, so dont bash everyone.... And yes probably everyone is going to yell at me and saying this is pointless, and for everyone that does that seriously grow up, your bashing 14 year olds for saying that? your the old people so your basicly doing what you dont want people to do.zer0sil3nce

Thats cool that you arent like the annoying ones.  good for you for speaking out and stuff.  However, you have to understand that MOST kids between 12 and 16 can be REALLY annoying.  Especially if there are a group of them that know each other in a match.  So its almost impossible to not generalize.  As soon as you hear the higher pitched voice, you automatically go "oh no not again".  Sometimes you are pleasantly surprised, as Im sure people are with you.  But for the most part, the experience is not a good one.

Not to forget, a majority of the players who grossly abuse glitches are from the 15 and under age group.

TC, as long as you're not acting like that, don't worry bro. :) Many of us older gamers don't generalize based on age, cause we know idiocy has no age limit.  I've met quite a few really cool younger gamers on LIVE.  It's just easy to make that generalization because a good percentage of your age group is unbearable.

Basically, 9/10 of the people that commented in that Thread you're on about, are just sad little Losers that will never have a life outside of XBL. 

I don't like playing with two types of people.  Those that are jerks and those that have little kid voices.  Jerks can easily be of any age.  I don't like the little kid voices because it is creepy.  I'm 33 years old and just feel I shouldn't be playing videogames with little kids.

I have a guy on my friend list.  I got an invite to join him in Crackdown 2 weeks back.  Once I got in, I found it was his 12 year old son.  I felt really uncomfortable and did not stay long.  I got another invite from him the next day for Crackdown and ignored it.

I was in another game once with guys who were obviously local friends.  They weren't too young, but probably in high school.  All they talked about was how much beer they were going to drink that night.  How they were going to get so wasted.  How they didn't think that the 2 cases of beer they got would be enough and that they needed to find a buying for more.  I remember talking the EXACT same way in high school.  I just don't care to listen to it now.
