why...WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN!!!???

I bought borderlands about a week and a half ago..i beat it..very dissapointed in the ending but stilll a good game...until....me and my brother were playing co-op and i leave to get somethin to drink..when i come back borderlands is frozen..i take it out only to find 3 big circular scratches on the disc....i asked my brother what happened he said that it just froze up, it didnt make a grinding noise like my first xbox would make when you move it..just froze and put the rings on the disc. shouldnt microsoft already fixed this problem?? ive gone through 2 other xboxs this one being my third..R.I.P. Borderlands :cry:

Yes, there are 360's out there that have the tendency to scratch some games. But it isn't enough for Microsoft to do anything the likes of the red rings of death phenomena. You can try to contact them to see if they'll do anything for you I guess.

My 360 did the same thing to me. It froze about 3 different times, and I look at the disc, its all messed up. Like it has a water stain or something, Not a scratch like my xbox was moved.

It turns out my Xbox is dieing, it will no longer read anything, and some games it just scratches trying to read it. Time to buy a new one, wish i had red ring honestly.
