I was wondering if you could use a current xbox live card and use it on an original xbox. Please help and thanks in advance for your help.

I'm pretty sure it can. I'm pretty sure I've seen my friends do it. And I've played original x-box games on the 360. The 360 emulates the original x-box when you play original x-box games. So I'm fairly certain you can import your gamer tag to an original x-box.
