Since, Bioshock does not have any multiplayer (which is completely understandable) do you guys think it will have replayability? Or is this game more of a rental. I'd like to buy it because I've been pretty bored these last couple of weeks and would also like to play the game at my own leisure? And I mean it's Bioshock, c'mon ...

There are two very different ways to approach the little sisters, kill or cure, so that gives at least two different endings and they claim there are at least three ways to tackle each area so I'd say there should be some replay value.

I played through Deus Ex a dozen or so times to make sure I saw everything the game had to offer, can se myself doing the same here.

I don't know, I haven't played it.

Seems good enough for at least two playthroughs though. I think in one of the interviews the developers say that you can't max out every skill on one playthrough.

It's definitely worth a buy, but the replay value may not be there....it still seems like you go on a pre-determined linear path. I'm waiting for that game like GTA that lets you move along in a not so linear way and carry out your objectives in a do it my way fashion...besides the developers choice.

Its no way as linear as most FPS's, the destination and objective may be the same but the way you get there and what you do in the process of getting there is up to the player.

Every game forces you along a certain path, even the GTA's, you still have to follow the story path thats been determined by the developer, they just provide a few more distractions along the way.

This game definitly has replayability. There are multiple ways to tackle every problem and solve all the mysteries the city has to offer, I believe the developers have stated that almost no two people that play it will have the same outcomes and experiences, so consider that for replayability.

Yeah I have completed Deus Ex several times, hopefully Bioshock will provide a worthwhile experience like Deus Ex has.

The game is supposedly open ended. but that is a good point there are a few games that offered some of those features but that felt not so long winded. I'm being very optimistic with this game. I really think this will bring some promise but I'm hoping
