I am confident the Xbox 360 can not handle Crysis. Especially not on max settings.
There seem to be rumours of a Crysis spin offs coming to consoles though. Like FarCry Instincts only then for Crysis.
But w/e I'm going to upgrade my PC just for Crysis. If you want to know why, here is one of the reasons http://youtube.com/watch?v=gLwh9S0jtak
I don't think we'll see Crysis on 360. At least not the PC's version of Crysis. Maybe in the future, after the release of the pc game, they'll start working on a Crysis side story for the consoles. Crytek did say that there working on a multiplatform game using the CryEngine2.
[QUOTE="Dante2710"]crysis looks meh, i would love to see a new KOTOR game more than crysis on the 360Fyper
Check that vid I posted earlier. I think it looks mindblowing.
the campaign does look like fun, really cool effects, i saw the multiplayer and i wasnt really that impressedthe actual far cry for pc never did come to the original xbox, instead we got a spin off that was very different from the pc far cry, but i realy don't think either one was very good. opinions aside you should know that crytech are mad crazy pc whores and don't ummmm how should i say "believe" in console gaming and just don't want to port it despite the fact the it most certanly could, even if they did have to tone tone on the visual quality a lil bit. they are however porting the engine (cryEngine 2) to both of the consoles and licensing it to other developers so we may see a game just as cool as crysis on the 360 and/or ps3.wreak
No, CryTek just creates stuff in which you would need the best of the best hardware. And consoles hardware are outdated the second the console is released. I'm a pure console gamer but I can admit this.
I really don't think Crysis would ever be possible on current gen consoles. Even toned down, I think it would have horrible frame rate issues and it's visual impact would be gone.
