If it's fun, I'll buy it. When it takes place doesn't really matter to me. Call od Duty, Call of Duty United offence and Call of Duty 2 were all WAY better than Call of Duty 4 and they took place in World War II.

i think that gow2 might beat cod4 because gow2 made a impact. i inspect it to be something that you can play over and over again and feel like it's something new every time.hnando

Eh, it depends on if they fix the problems alot of people are having with the host having an advantage. I never noticed it but alot of people got heated about it. I also think they would have to offer something other than just modes (like COD's or RSV's) to make it worth repeated play. It'll be up there for a while, but I think the darkhorse to catch up to it is Brothers in Arms Hells Highway, game looks sicknebagaman4life

It will for a little bit. Depending on how good the game is, is the factor in how long it shall last. I hope you will be able to customize characters and the online is a little more player friendly. The multiplayer needed to be revamped from the first. It felt rather empty and linear, but it's got the idea.

I'd have to disagree. If you see the scan images of this game, you'd be blown away. I despised WWII games too but ever since games like Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway and Call of Duty: World at War stepped into the picture, I might take a whiff at it again.

I cant wait for COD world at war, and Brothers in arms Hells Highway to come out!!! i loved the WWII games!

though COD4 has made a big hit... the single player was kinda lame, i still play COD2 and 3 on x360 if i want to play single player...

as for the feautres on COD4 multiplayer... its a sick game.. im sure that the next one will be just as good, which includes COOP online, Vehicles online.... as well as the perks and upgrades into single and multiplayer and hopefully for achievements this time!

as for Gears of War, its definetly Unique... thats the best i can give it... i was not a fan of it, especially when i played Multiplayer online... it was, just horrible... playing it online with friends doing coop was pretty cool, but then you can only have up to 2 people doing that.. i found that kinda sucked... the gore and all was kinda cool, but the movement was realy bothering and distracting. the leaning against walls and sprinting had gotten very innoying...

I think that COD4 will still stand over GOW2 in online multiplayer, a for World at War... i know that is what ill be playing online more from now on.. but COD 4 will still be there for me if i ever want to go Modern .

It will for a while. It'll be new and it'll expand alot on the original. The reall question though is can it top halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 for long?vashkey

Considering Gears of War 1 is still consistently in 4th place, I think Gears of War 2 will reclaim the top spot for good if the re-polished multiplayer is as good as people are expecting. No offence to Halo 3 of Call of Duty 4, but the Gears series rules supreme on Xbox LIVE (at least in my book).

Gears of War is an awful game, I can hardly see that happening

Even then, the top ten isn't important, as long as a good amount of people play it.

Incorrect... Gamers will pick up COD5. Even though they are going back to WW2 settings, it's still a NEW game to those who will be bored with their current selection. COD5 will do just fine. Multiplayer alone will sell plenty of COD5 games - so will you!
