Will Grand Theft Auto 4 BEAT Halo3?

Do you think if GTA 4 is released ont he PS3 and the 360 simultaneously in Japan, Europe and America, it will beat Halo 3 for the world's largest grossing game - release day in Video Game History?

No. I don't believe it will. It will sell a hell of a lot but halo 3 just set a pretty high bar for first day sales

GTA will not outsell Halo 3 first day. Maybe it will sell more games. But not as fast as Halo 3 do. Simply becouse GTA is for PS3 and 360. And people dont run to the store to get it. Ill pick it up sometime. But i dont think the game will be that awsome. An okay game.

Halo has some flaws and maybe GTA 4 will be ALOT better than halo 3. im not a hardcore fan of halo nor GTA so im not picking favs

gta iv will out sell halo 3 in the long run. if you look at history of these games halo has always been good in it's first week of sales due to the fact of microsoft marketing of halo games. but in the long run gta games have sold way more then halo games.

but in the long run though. and with gta iv being delayed and having more time to improve when it's release the game will be amazing. not to sure about beating halo 3 in it's first week sales but for sure in the long run it will beat halo 3.

100% no.including ps3 sales,nothing will top halo 3 this decade.

GTA tops Halo as a Franchise - GTA has sold many more copies - many more $ than Halo and that's a fact.

I think in the long run GTA will beat Halo though it may not have as strong an opening day/week.

yes it is. if u wanna be specific. Halo 3 grossed more then halo 2 due to the various editions. (standard, limited, legendary). Halo 2 moved more units but grossed less.
