Will Grand Theft Auto V be the next 10?

I predict GTA V, just like it's predecessor, will be rated a perfect 10 because this game literally has everything you would want in a GTA game. A lot of people complained that GTA V was dull/boring because you couldn't really interact with the environment like you could in san andreas, which is understandable. I've only played a little bit of san andreas but GTA V was my first GTA game and at the time I thought it was the best open world/sandbox game there was. There's only about 3 weeks left until GTA V comes out and besides skyrim, I don't think I've ever been so excited for a game to come out! It just sucks that it comes out during school but I'm making this game my priority!

So what score do you guys predict GTA V will recieve?

No. It won't get a 10 on GS it will get a 9.0 or 9.5.It may even score below a 9.

I doubt it, I think you're only saying that because it's been a while since a really good game has came out (Or it's been a while since GS has rated a game high). Whichever way you look at it is irrelevant because this isn't just any ordinary game, this game is going to be HUGE and I think you're way off thinking it will only get a 9 or lower. If it doesn't at least get a 9.5 I don't think GS should be in business anymore reviewing games... I'm just saying, from what I know about this game so far, there's simply no way they won't rate this exceptionally high.DryBomber5

It's just I can't think of any reasons why they would rate it any lower then a 10, it just seems like the perfect open world game. Then again, this game is really over-hyped, so it might not meet their high expectations, but other then that I can't think of anything else. Let's say it does get a solid 9, what would be the main reason for it only getting a 9? If I had to guess, it would probably have something to do with lag or bugs/glitches (one or the other). Bugs has always been an issue with any open-world game, so that's to be expected (Unless of course there's a signifcant amount of glitches in the game to the point where it ruins the experience, but I highly doubt that's gonna happen). The other issue the game might have is game lag, which is actually something that I'm worried about. After watching all the trailers and gameplay vids, you have to ask yourself, how is my system going to handle all this? It almost seems too good to be true but remember guys, this is RockStar. The past two GTA games have all been very sucessful and let's not forget red dead redemption.

That's consistenty. (I know I left out L.A Noire, Max payne and others but that's like comparing apples to oranges)

I don't think Gamespot will make that mistake again, but they gave IV a 10 and that was a total joke; I'm sure some website will give it a 10. Reviewers love to fall in love with hype.

the flawed gta iv got a 10/10

and in my opinion it should have been a 9

GS haven't been very good at giving a score above 9 lately.

From what I've seen so far (vastly improved graphics, incredibly huge open world, tons of extra activities, car/gun/player customization, high production value all around) I would be surprised if it receives less than a 9.5. The only reason I can see this game being marked down for is if the gunplay isn't improved (I'm hoping that it feels less like GTA4 and more like Max Payne3)a55a55inx

It will probably get a 100 on metacritic because reviewers only review hype nowadays but I hope someone gives it a really low score just to piss off all these annoying fanboys that already think it's the greatest game ever made.XxR3m1xInHDn3D
