Will GTA IV outsell Halo 3?

There is a couple of things to consider here, you could refer to GTA coming onto the PS3 as-well and halo not.

But i want to know about pure Xbox 360 sales..

I know this is off topic, but does it matter if it does outsell Halo 3? I mean honestly?

Anyway i am going to say perhaps. If the hype gets up there like Halo 3s i think it could, but we still don't know how much more Halo 3 will sell before then (meaning this Holiday season). Then you must also count Halo 3s port to the PC. I don't really expect GTA to outsell Halo 3, but there is always a chance.

i'm guna say that on the 360 alone, Halo 3 will probably win that battle.

But because GTA started on the PS, GTA IV will sell the best when you add 360 and PS3 sales together. The fact that it is multi platform will end up being the deciding factor.

time will tell. dunno, you really couldn't pick whether it will or wont, and outsell in what? units or total grossing net amounts?

units, yes, net amount, no. Simply cause halo had the 3 versions.

Nope, it really doesn't matter, it is just pure curiosity to me at the moment.

it wont break the opening day record, but may outsell in the long term
