i gurantee i can walk into my walmart and buy the game the day after it comes outBrickz187
I'd be surprised but you never know - I guess it depends on where you live. When Halo 2 launched there was a line of 130 people standing there (Walmart)from about 6pm until Midnighto get their copy. I'm sure it will be the same for Halo 3.
I don't stand in line either - I just pre-order them. But if you don't pre-order a game like Halo 3 - don't expect to even see it anywhere for at least the first week. Not saying you won't - there are always exceptions, but I'd be surprised.
Even Gears of War had lines for 4 or 5 hours before it went on sale - not just at Walmart, but at every reseller in the area. Halo 3 will no doubt have a bigger following than Gears did initially - so good luck! :)
someone needs to put that quote in their sig[QUOTE="Brickz187"]i gurantee i can walk into my walmart and buy the game the day after it comes out2ndWonder
i doubt that there will be any copies after the first few hours after the release
Exactly - LOL
I'm not sure what these guys are thinking, but they obviously must be new to picking up big selling name games. :)
As I said - I wish them luck - though I can "almost" guarantee they won't find it. :)
By saying I would be able to find it, I wasn't implying that I was actually going to buy it... for the record.

It's all good man - we're just having a bit of fun - and maybe you could. I mean I'm sure there will be some Walmarts or other stores in BFE, Kansas and the like that may have 1 or 2 surviving copies after the initial rush. :)
PS - I've been meaning to tell you - your RAMSTEIN pic RULES!!! :)
It matters where you live, but i think in most places it will sell out. I mean it did sell out were i live and i'm not in that big of a town.
Oh and for people who says i still see cases that sell that have the made date in 2004 (yes i have seen people who say this). That can mean Microsoft manufactured more copies than were sold (or bought from stores). I think though now that stores may get more copies of Halo 3 than they did Halo 2 (which could mean less places are sold out).

I went out on the day halo 2 was released and managed to pick up a limited edition copy from the first shop I went into and all the others I went into hads it in stock as well, it was the same with gears of war I walked into the shop and picked up the limeted edition of that as well on its first day of releas, truth is games hardly ever sell out in fact I'm yet to here of a game selling out (when it's just the disc, and on modern consoles) these days mass production is so easy that they can make more than enough copies of a game to go around.

I would bet it´ll be worseThis might be a wrong comparison, and i'm not too sure on the numbers but...
Everyone thought WoW: BC would of sold out, so people started to preorder.
I did
My friend Didn't
He got it same time as me.
Then again i live in michigan so who knows..but i'm not 17 so i really can't preorder M games. (Damn, 1 more year)
I will just pick it up the day it comes out, I got San Andreas and Halo 2 ont he first day just casually walking into my store and getting, no money wasted on preorders
I live in Canada, Ontario to be exact and Shadowrun sold out the second day, thats right SHADOWRUN, if that game can sell out then I firmly believe that Halo 3 will be gone in the first 5 hours of release.Mikey289
Yeah, but Shadowrun is a much smaller game, and many less copies were produced.
It depends on where you live, but I can pretty much guarentee that if they are on the shelves, they probably won't be around for long the first couple of days. I'm also sure that Bungie gets the picture that this game is going to be big- Much bigger than even Halo 2 and thus I come to my final point that bungie is going to have made a crapload of copies for stores.
