will i be able to download the nxe from www.xbox.com put it on a cd, then into my xbox to download the update? or do i have to go on xbox live to get the update

I don't know if it will be available through the website. If you can connect your 360 to the internet that will be the best bet

Yes but not straight away. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/nxe/faq.htm Says they will make it available to offline users shortly
