Will I like mass effect?

I loved KOTOR, is this game like it minus the whole jedi thing? That was the impression I got. I am picky about my games, for instance a lot of people liked Bioshock which I despised.

TC i haven't played kotor but ME is pretty good...i put in about 27 hrs. so far and it doesn't seem long enough, but i do have two more main quests and about 13 more side quests before i complete the game!

the game is more than i expected and less than i hoped for?

nice...yeah i like star wars (who doesn't), kotor: Knights Of The Old Republic in case anyone else didn't know?

i think i'll give this game a try...not sure if it's BC but i'm sure it's pretty cheap and i do still have an original xbox collecting dust, but it would be very nice if the 360 will play it with updated graphics (which i'm doubted)?

KOTOR is backwards compatible but it does have some framerate issues in some areas and alot of times in combat... however it is still fun. Too bad i havent beaten it yet though (i'm close, been working on it for 4+ months) :)

Mass Effect is visually amazing, just don't go doing all the main quests, do all the side missions first or in between the main missions. I had a lot of fun and Knights of the Old Republic is definitely just like it but this game is a step up in many ways

mass effect reminds me sooo much of kotor
