if i dont get a good fan/cooler thing? i am going to buy a 360 probly this weekend and i want to make sure i do everything i can to keep it from dying on me. ive looked at some coolers (like the one by nyko) and they all seem like crap. any suggestions or precautions? thanks

If you are a clean person and dont throw your dirty underwear on it while its on and dont give it room to breath and do its thing you should be fine. :P
your 360 wont blow up. i have an intercoller but i never use it. one its loud and a few of my friends told me that it could burn the port if you dont plug it in tightly. so dont worry, your 360 will live. give it enough ventalation (space) and it will be alright. you should consider getting a warrenty also.
yer 360 wont blow up without an intercooler, but it's nice to have, it keeps it WAY cooler and ive never had it glitch or lag once since ive had it. like the others said, if it's well ventilated it's fine...but the intercooler is a nice bonus, it makes me feel good if i were to leave my 360 on all day :D
dont buy one. i got one and it screwed over my 360. I got the red ring 4 times. i took it off and havent had a problem since. plus its much quieter without it.. if you have to just by a little mini fan an aim it at the 360.
