During the day my parents aren't home, so I thought I'd move the 360 into the living room with the large hi-def TV, and move it back to the room when they come home as to not bother them.  My question is, will moving my 360 cause any sort of damage, no matter how minor?

It will mess up the Xbox 360 and disk inside if you move it wile its on and playing a game. If you are going to do that, then just turn it off and take off the disk, then move it, you should be fine.

Judt remove the disc inside and turn off your 360 and don't drop it and shake it around and you should be fine.

Do not move it around with a game inside. But if you make sure there's no game in the Xbox, then you can move it around as much as you'd care for. ;)

treat it like a freakin small child. My first 360 stopped working after i moved it to another room. Well it still worked but it sounded like a freakin jet engine every time i put a disc in.

dont mean to sound harsh but obviously moving your xbox around while its turned off isnt gonna damage it, i mean it didnt magically appear in your house did it? Its been moved from the factory to the retail store to your house all before you've moved it the few feet to another room, really think about it.
