i'm really only concerned with offline games for now. i'll get a 20 or 60 g later. so will the arcade have enough memory to save games or is it just a way to sell more 360's?

They come with 256MB memory cards now I think. So yeah, that's more than enough to save your games.

More than enough for game saves. Don't expect to be downloading a lot of DLC like games and movies, or installing any games to your Hard Drive though.

It should be enough, for a while.

FO3 saves take ~7 MB. So, if you have FO3 with 2 characters, 2 saves each (plus autosave), that is ~42 MB for one game.

Of course, not all games take that much, but you should plan on getting a HDD at some point.
