I hope the new elder scrolls will be set in the argonian homeland aswell or maybe back in morrowind. Not imperial or nord or something human-esque again.

I like the argoninan idea but there would have to be a lot of underwater stuff and unless they somehow improve manuoverability the underwater fighting wont be great, think the dark brotherhood quest where you had to kill the argonian in the cave. i had to take her on land.
It'll be a while especially since they have to finnish Fallout 3 first, and for some reason i get the feeling that there is a good chance of that game getting delayed. but i am sure they will make another elder scrolls at some point
maybe they could make it online and you can battle your freinds in the arena. Or if your the first one to beat the game, an update runs through and makes it so a statue of you is throughout the game
The guys who made the orginal elder scrolss havent been involved since Daggerfall. The guys from morrowind and Oblivion are working on Fallout 3 atm, but theyll eventually make a new eler scroll but that definatly wont be an elder scroll for this generation.
And I would hate it as an MMO, there are plenty fo freeroaming MMO's, why waste space with another one? And if that happend then it definatly wont be released on consoles because MMO's on consoles are limited. And if there is one thing worse then an MMO elder scrolls then it's an MMO elder scrolls that sucks.

To the north, and it has nothign to do with Tamriel or any of the other races. IT would mean all new races such a snailpeople and all new lore. I rather have them continue in the excisting world of tamriel, perhaps on the summerset islands, they could call it; The Elder Scrolls V: Summerset
Well after Oblivion was released they said they had split their team in two, half of them worked on the DLC and expansion stuff for Oblivion while the other half started on the next installment.
The Elder Scrolls games make too much money for them too stop now and they've been doing really good on them. I don't think they would stop. Just be patient about it.
Also, I think it was mentioned somewhere that it was confirmed by Bethesda that they were developing a MMO. Anyone else hear this? It was probably just another rumor.
I THINK IT WOULD BE GOOD IF IT WAS A MMO. IT WOULD BE LIKE WORLD OF WARCRAFT. BUT IF THEY DO MAKE ANTHOR ELDER SCROLLS IT SHOULD BE MORE LIKE MOROWIND THEN OBLIVION. MORE RARE ITEMS LIKE UMBRA AND STUFF.
The guy who invented FF quit, but they are still making Final Fantasy games...... You have to understand that a lot of pople quit (retire or change teams) and do something else. Like a lot of the people who made Diablo quit and made Hellgate London. The main people from Rare quit, yet they are still making games like PDZ and Banjo.
Plus it wasn't one guy that made it. It was a group of friends who played D&D (which is why the game is hardcore RPG) who then decided to turn their D&D world into a video game world.
I have been reading a lot on it, and found out when they wer making morrowwind, they said in the future they will make one in on cyrodiil (oblivion) and summerset isle. Although there is nothing yet officially confirmed. :)
