Two Worlds looks promising, but with the minor lack of info how can we tell? I personely didnt enjoy Oblivion all the way through, I only enjoyed about 25 hours on it until I quit because lack of story. However, Gothic 3 for the PC had a tremendous story but lacked the graphics and unique gameplay of oblivion. I personely hope Two Worlds will imrpove on the combat of Oblivion and put in place a better plot. What do you guys think?

Well from the videos available I can see they have worked on the magic system. If they work on the story I'm set.

I dunno, Oblivion was an amazing gaming experience for me. I hope Two Worlds is a good game, but I doubt it will be as good as Oblivion.

If by "fill the gap" you mean bridge the gaping whole that has existed in the rpg genre for pretty much the entire next gen console generation to date, then I would say yes. I mean, it isn't like Two Worlds has a bunch of competition out right now for the rpg lovers' attention. However expecting it to provide the same amount of entertainment value as Oblivion is a high bar to hurdle. I'll personally probably be buying the game, since, as I said before (many, many times before), there isn't a lot out there for rpg lovers. I just don't know enough about the game though aside from the fact it looks pretty to say it will be better than Oblivion or Gothic.

this will hopefully curb my appetite for rpg's until an actual good MMO for 360 comes out. A new MMo and not something thats just a port of a 5 year old game.

I think it'll fill in the gap between Mass Effect. I definitely need a break from shooters and this will probably all I'll get until Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed are released.

This is the same company (SouthPeak) that published such hits as State of Emergency 2 and Monster Madness. Don't get your hopes up.

you understand publishers don't make the game right?

Um, yup, developers make the game. But when you are a publisher that doesn't usually publish very good games, then that means something. If this was indeed looking to be a good game, then a bigger and more well known publisher would have picked up the rights to it.

the reason it's not a big time publisher is because this is a first in a series, from a lesser known developer.  no matter how good of a developer you are, if you don't have a name made for yourself, you won't get the big backing of a top publisher.

True. Don't get me wrong, I am excited for this game. There is a new picture in the new issue of OXM, and it looks amazing. I am just hoping it will be about as good as Oblivion. It doesn't need to be any better.
