no i dont think so. UT3 is just an fps. UC2 was a jumping off walls matrix kinda 3rd person. This has more appeal to casual gamers where UC2 was for the hardcore gamer. I think UT3 will rock. I thought UC2 rocked
It should sell better, because I'm interested in buying it. I'm more into racing and rpg games.Like the above post stated,Unreal Tournament 3 is a good pick-up for a more broader audience.
Considering that this is an Unreal TOURNAMENT game...and will be available on 3 platforms. The most known of which being the PC. I'd say Epic is resting easy.
it will sell extremly well especaially on pc thas where the game got its popularity,its also going to sell well on the 360 since the creators of gears made it and all the hype is going to be around the game and i think its going tobe popular on the ps3 becaude they are looking for a awesome FPS and they want a game like gears so bad that UT3 is the best bet

Epic is a popular company solely because of the Unreal series. Gears of War benefited from this popularity. its not the other way around.

ut3 is more well known than ut2 was. will probably get more advertising aswell
