I know it's all rumor, but it makes good business sense, besides Sons Of Liberty was released on the Xbox and Snake Eater would have been released as well, had there been no ex gen consoles on the market.

It wouldn't come as a huge surprise if Bioshock and Mass Effect was released on the PS3. As for Halo, no chance, as Microsoft owns that pathetic excuse of a franchise.
MGS4 will NOT come to Xbox360. This has been confirmed on numerous occasions, and the sooner people face up to the fact the better. If MGS4 came to the 360, the PS3 would fail. Sony know this. And seeing as they own the studio developing MGS4, its a pretty sure bet that it'll remain exclusive.
So, you think people shelled out 500 to 600 dollars for a ps3 just to wait 18 months for MGS 4? Highly unlikely. Rockstar saw how much they couldmake from making GTA multi console, I would think that Konami will see dollar signs in about a year.
I don't see why not. I recall Resident Evil 4, Capcom went as far as to say they would rather cut their heads of then port it to another system. Low and behold we now have PS2 and PC versions. Metal Gears was never a really exclusive game. I don't see why not.
Are you guys even analyzing what you are saying? You did know MGS4 filled up a complete 50gb bluray disk, and even to make it fit they had to take stuff out. There is no way its coming to 360 unless they plan on making a six disk version of the game.
u cant play it on the xbox it is impossible, they had hard enoguh time placing it on one disc for blu ray how would they put it on a 5gb disc compared to a 50gb... not to mention the hard ware ... xbox is just not up for it

Sony passed on a lot of games that were suppose to be exclusive to only them (gta, assassins creed, devil may cry)..but this i can guarantee will not go anywhere
I think everyone realizes this. MGS4 will not be comming out the Xbox 360 for the forseeable future. MGS4 will be a HUGE selling point for the PS3.. which has been lagging of late in terms of sales. A lot of people, myself included, bought a PS3 with MGS4 as one of the reasons. Maybe in the future it will be ported over, but dont expect it within the next few years. Look how long it took for the MGS remake to make it to Xbox. Sony NEEDS MGS4..

Let's see, for every Xbox sold, 50% bought Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo 2 was the number one game on Xbox Live for goodness knows how many years. From the time it came out until Gears. Halo 3 made $170 million on opening day. Yes, GTA IV beat it, but who's complaining about only $170 million dollars? It's also the second most played game on Xbox Live right now. I think Call of Duty 4 is above it.
Then we've got Halo Wars coming and (hopefully) a Halo movie, which I've heard is back on track. (

Kojima is to much of a Sony fanboy, so I highly doubt MGS4 will come to the 360, especially since they made comments regarding hard drives needing to be standard and disk space limitations which isn't an issue for the PS3. So no, MGS4 is much to much of a large game in file size to really be able to be done on a standard DVD-9 disk. Plain and simple there's to many limitations regarding space issues with the 360. Unless they opt for an 5 disk set which I hughly doubt, so don't expect MGS4 ever on the Xbox 360!

it wasn't Sony's choice. just like it wasn't Nintendos to lose MGS original
you shouldn't count on it... I think sony will do all they can to keep it and I think Kojima might end up with keeping it on the PS3... I'm not sure so dont quote me on this but I am pretty sure MGS4 is using the PS3 to its max and I doubt Kojima will be willing to downgrade it at all if he would have to to port it which he may because I always read Ps3 has some more power to it...
I would say you should probably just consider getting a PS3 anyways tho, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, and besides Ninja Gaiden it has pretty much everything the PS3 has... I prefer my PS3 but I'm keeping around my xbox just in case...
but check out the line-up an you may want a PS3 for more than MGs4 tho I did say I would buy a PS3 alone for MGS4 if it came down to it... it was well worth it wih everything else it has to offer! I love the console
