yes. im so excited.  i played HL2 on my computer when it came out a while about-- i had it pre-ordered. loved it.  my computer couldn't run it that well.   i never played the episodes though so i will get it, plus it has portal and team fortress!
Definitely, it comes out a day ater my B-day, so I'll be picking it up as a late present to myself. HL2 is my favorite game ever made, and I've never played episode 1, so it's a must.
think i'm gonna get it for the pc instead of 360. we've been waiting like what 9 years for this game, TF2 is all i really care about and FPS multiplay is still better on PC than console.

Thats a skewed way to look at video games. And I don't know but the game may be recieving more points given its unique nature. Crackdown only have 900 and Oblivion Expanion packs came with an extra 200 or so.
I will be getting it i havent played half life 2 yet at all. the original half life was excellent and i spent many hours on counter-strike (shame that isnt going to be in the orange box) but i recon im certainly going to enjoy this game ive been waiting for so long to play it cant wait

Yes I'll definitely be picking this up, Half-life is awesome that's a given but add TF2 and portal how could you not, and achievements should never influence your game buying decision.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is only 1000 achievement points spread out over 99 achievements. This covers the entire game.
I'll definitely be picking it up. My PC was lacking the guts to play HL2 maxed out so it will probably look better on the 360. I found HL2's story a bit disappointing, but I'm hoping episodes 1 and 2 will round things out a bit. Throw Portal into the mix and it's a definite winner.

I'm buying it. 5 games in one? One of the best shooters in recent years, plus both of its episodes, an awesome looking multiplayer component, and an experimental portal game? Any one of those would be worth full price alone.

i also finished the hl2 episode 1 (that i never bought and never specialy wanted ... but since i get ep2 i'd better play both of them) *i can't believe it wasn't even 5 hours of gameplay*
