Will you be getting Rock Band 3?

I don't know, I like RB a lot and I have both games and all equipment and I like the whole idea of 'pro' instruments but not especially the piano. However I am leniant at buying a whole new range of instruments for the game.

The only instrument I play regularly is the drums, so I'm glad they're updating that kit as well as the guitar. It's supposed to have a 2 bass pedals, but if I can't use the left pedal as an open hi-hat I might just stick with the one I have. I still need to see prices to make a final decision on equipment, but I'll definitely buy the disc.

I'm definitely interested. As a musician myself, the "pro" mode might actually be good practice for guitar. And I do love Rock Band 2. I'm just thinking about how much $$$ this is all going to amount to. If I'm going to be spending hundreds on toy instruments, I might as well just put that money towards more real-life instruments and pedals and stuff. The only reason I broke down and got RB2 finally was because I had about $100 in gift cards for gamestop... and while I love the game, I wouldn't have been able to justify spending that much real money on the stuff.

I wont be buying RB3 for the fact that I am tired of these music games.

I came in here thinking I would say flat out no, but that pro mode is interesting. I don't know then. Maybe.
