Will you buy Battlefield Bad Company?

I pre-ordered it - but cancelled it after playing the demo - I'm not really impressed with it.

I may pick it up anyway for something different as I don't think there's anything great coming out for a while - so i'm on the fence right now.

I'll pass, I gotta save money. But if it goes to the bundle bin, who knows, I might pick it up. Till then I'm having fun with the demo even though there's slight lag every now and then.

Honestly, I'm not impressed by the game at all. In fact it hardly resembles all the amazing screenshots I'd seen for awhile now. I might still get it, it just really depends on if I can map controls and turn off the grainy camera filter. Feels like I'm playing Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams in first person, with a gun, and tanks. . . .and humvees. :?

This isn't that game I played in the demo. The destructible environments are predetermined blast points on structures which seems really lame. They don't look cool like they do in these screens and the environmental textures are pretty bland.

ok so maybe i was a little rash, but honestly no i wont because i was highly unimpressed with the demo. I completely agree with the dude a few posts before me about the predetermined damage, i felt like it was BLACK all over again...just not nearly as fun.

Im still enjoying quake wars a ton but the group of friends i play with on there seriously can not find competition at all. we beat the bots on hard on a time limit of 10 minutes EVERY TIME and have gotten close to under 5 minutes once or twice. Playing against other people on live can some times...some times...put up a little better effort, but in the end my friend has a 24:1 win loss ratio and mine is 8:1, but thats because he only plays when we have a big group together whereas ill jump into any game, BUT back to battlefield.

a lot of people will even admit that the only reason they are getting this is because they are bored or tired with past games like r6v2 and cod4, but i think they should just wait for ut3, which will be very very good if its even remotely similiar to the ps3 version and pc version which it undoubtedly will be.

Ya. This game is so intense and fun.

Way more fun than COD4, Halo3, and all of those other good ones.

I noticed that as well. I actually redownloaded the demo and found that out. I deleted it the first time because I was so disgusted with the lag. This game is fun, especially without the lag.

why, Bf is 3X more fun then those two put together, Just cause you dident like it dosent mean we will buy your game sugestions.

I didnt really like the demo, the single plaayer was so-so and the multiplayer is too slow-paced for me.

Of corse, I personaly and not to start a mailsrom think its awsome and alot more fun than cod 4. its time for a new military shooter, ive ben playing cod4 for 9 months and after all the prestigeing and gold weaponing im done, thank god for GTA4 to keep me busy and from compleatly hating cod4. the sounds are great and the graphics are too, and i think its way fun. Sure the demo had some mad lag but you actualy think there gunna ship it like that?Tundrawarlord

Same here! I even pre-ordered the Gold Edition, not that it matters. It should say something since I was initially not planning on buying it at all!
