I've grown bored of online games and i wasn't planning on renewing my xbox live subscription. After playing the demo i'm buying the game,renewing my subscription,and buying a headset.
I am really excited about this game! Downloaded the demo and it is intense. Had a go at Multiplayer online, but was mildly disappointed with it - no-one had a mic on, and IMO this game needs people to be talking to each other. If the community is good for this - I will definitely be buying, but it isn't a pre-order or day of release title for me at the minute. I need to know a little more!!
I doubt it because as I understand the game is just online multi-player? If so I'm sick of online mp games they seem so shallow to me lately so I mainly play SP games.

No there is a SP campaign mode.
Oh that's good. I wonder if it's got any length to it or if it was just thrown in as an afterthought because all I've heard about the game is the online mp.

Either the other three people are real (fun) or computer controlled (not so fun). Just download the demo and try it. That`s why Valve went to the trouble of making a demo in the first place. BTW...this game ROCKS, although I think it may be a little on the short side. P.S. it`s co-op not mp, because you play as teammaes, not adversaries. The adversarial part has yet to be shown.

Co-Op is multiplayer silly. It has both cooperative and competitive modes.
Probaly - played the demo and had fun. Just hope their are more variety of objectives. And some more weapons such as flame thrower, grenade launcher...
I wasn't excited for this game at first but after playing the demo my excitement has built up. Left4Dead and Prince of Persia are probably the two game I'll be picking up this year.
It looks fun but it could be quite short, just like TF2 which Valve abandoned on consoles after releases. They did make a lot of extra content, maps, weapons and achievements, but only for the PC version.
I'm not prepared to pay £40 to get it on consoles and not get DLC when I could buy it for half that price on PC and get all the updates as soon as they are available and for free.
I really liked the demo, but I'm not sure if it is worth a buy yet. I think a $60 price may be a bit high for this game. I'll prob. wait for some more reviews to come in.
don't have time for it with all the great games already out but honestly I found the game pretty boring from what I played in the demo so I really have no interest in it either way
before i played the demo i would have said yes but now ive played it its a firm NO, a rentel maybe but defiinatly not a buy, not until it goes way down in price in a few years time

I agree, zombies deserve the same rights as the rest of us bipedal humanoids.
I was pushed towards purchasing L4D after playing the co-op demo. I began playing the single player campaign and thought it was another run of the mill shooter with zombie skins. The AI of the team was horrible, Duh! a game meant for co-op. I also had a grotesque satisfaction of blasting away at a swarm of the undead and watching the brain chunks, flesh and blood splatter all over until the squirmed no more.
Haven't had a chance to play the Demo yet. My gf's been hogging the 360 with Fable 2. Lesson learned...Don't encourage your women to play your video games! lol

2 player split screen co-op also, and I think you can take a guest with you online as well. I'll be buying the game as soon as its available.

This is funny, I had the opposite experience.
 Before playing the demo, I just watched the intro movie and it was awesome so I thought I would get the game as well, but then I tried the demo and now Im not so sure. I just think the zombies in the game are very cheaply done (gfx in general maybe) to the point where they look like posters flying at you. I dont like that they dont really have any depth, and that they can jsut go through each other, that is a NO NO!!
