now that we've all compared BFBC to COD4 endlessly and played the demo what are your thoughts? will you be picking it up? though it kinda annoyed me at first i've warmed up to the game and really think this is the truest "WAR" atmosphere i've ever seen. (buildings blowing up, guys screaming, yelling "S.O.B." when you get hurt etc. i think i will probably pick this up. and you?
I have always enjoyed the battlefield games, especially on the PC, but I won't be picking this up right away. I only reserve $60 to a very select few games. I may not get it when it comes out, but several months down the line when the price goes down, I will be picking this up.
NO!!!....I do not like the Demo...Mine skips alot and im not sure why...I play COD4 all the time and never have any internet connection problems so I know its not me or the system....COD4 all the way.....Maby if they can dress it up a bit more...and make is worth playing to me....
The sound in this game is incredible!! But on topic, I won't be getting it even though I am having a crapload of fun playing online. I don't like to buy games for MP only which is basically what Battlefield is, although it seems they put more effort into the single player, it still kinda sucked and I have no plans on going through it.
Im very tempted to. I was very fun I thought both the single and multiplayer were very well done and I hated the beta with a passoin and thought there is no way they can change it all around but I was wrong
im going to wait for reviews before i pick this one up. I love BF 2 (pc) and this is just as good but idk the shooting is . . . meh. sounds are great though with 5.1 surround sound

I will be getting it. I thought BF2 on the pc was awesome. On the demo I thought it took too many bullets to kill enemy and I hope they change that.gaz73
I don't think they will, BF2142 had the same issue but they said it was more balanced that way. Can't wait till its released.
I only downloaded and started playing the demo last night. My first thoughts were that its was an awesome amount of content for a demo! The game itself seems good. The FPS genre is saturated, but the destructable environments are a nice additon.
I see they have borrowed from frontlines fuel of war with the online play! Ive only had about half an hour gameplay soo far, but i'll give the single player a go and see what I think.
To be fair I have always rated the battlefield games over COD/COD4. I only play COD4 for much because my mates do. Battlefield offers the best in sandbox gameplay. No two games are alike. You can play different roles, different strats and the game lends itself to teamplay.
