Could anyone tell me where do I put the eight-digit code in windows media center that I got from xbox 360.

    When you set up media centre to link with your 360 it will ask you for the number I think.

You have to download and install the the setup here:
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/pcsetup/alldownloads.htm


In the setup process it will then ask for the 8-digit code.

check out http://www.xbox.com/pcsetup to download the software you need to setup the 360s Media Center. it's in this setup program that you enter the 8 digit code.

edit: just beaten to it :)
