Wired or Wireless Controller?

Recently one of my friends purchased a plug and play kit for his wireless controllers. I bought a plug and play kit a while ago and the rechargeable battery pack was zapped too quickly for me to appreciate it. What I want to know is have you got a wired or wireless controller and do you think the plug and play kit is worth purchasing?

Well... I have wireless with the plug and play kit. I only play a few hours a night so one night I will play with my controller plugged in, so it can recharge, and the next night I play wireless.

The rechargeable battery packs do eventually die and won't hold a charge. I'm on my second set of rechargables.

And on another note... I would have preferred if the Rock Band 2 drum set were wired. I hate running out of juice in the middle of a song, just to try and scour the house for another set of batteries. Just my opinion.

I just bought a charger and four rechargeable batteries from Walmart for $20 around a year and a half ago. They all still work and they have a great battery life. I see no reason to buy the play and charge kit.

I like my wired controller better. It was cheaper and I never have to pay for batteries.

Call me old fashioned but i prefer wired controllers.
