What wired routers do you use, if you use one?

I need to get the cheapest one that doesn't slow down gameplay.

I currently just plug the ethernet into the Modem and I need a router.  I play CoD2 online with no lag so if I got a cheap router would it lag or slow down?

Thank you in advance.

As long as you hard wire it, you only need a hub, what you can do is run your LAN cable from your modem into the hub, there you can have alot of ports for other stuff. Hubs are really cheap, I belive you can fine a 100Mbps for even 5 bucks, now if you want to run it wireless then I recomend looking for one that is atleast 125 Mbps wireless, then you just have to set it up and go about your way, but hard wired is cheaper and I belive better, some might disagree. Hope this helps.

Precisely - so if in the near future you decide to go wireless, you're already set (without having to buy a new router).
