I just got my 360 2 days ago, and i really want XBL, but i was wondering, how well does the wireless work. A friend of mine bought it for the original xbox, and it was really laggy, and sorta unreliable. is that the same with the 360 version, or is it a safe bet to get it. i steal internet from my neighbors, but their cool with it, so i really dont have any options other then wireless.

It depends on the router and the signal.

yeah, second vote for the dgl4300... great router, and it works as advertised...

I have 16 computers in the house... 2 on wireless, the rest wired... all are allways on (except I shut down the 2 wireless lappies when on XBL, to eliminate competition with the shared bandwidth) and all are always connected to and constantly accessing the internet...

NO other router I tried worked in this situation... until I tried the 4300 with its prioritized gaming... and since switching, I have never been dropped from XBL... it keeps all of the other traffic well under control when on XBL...
