Do a hard reset on the router (a little button you have to push with a paperclip or somethign small) then in your browser 192.168.1.1 from there you can change all your settings. If its an older Linksys you may need to upgrade the firmware.

I'm assumign you didnt set up your home network? I can't think of any routers that default to security enabled, so if your network is secured (as it should be) then someone secured it. Find out from them the WEP or WPA key (i only say this because if they secured it then you arent going to be able to access the routers site (by going to the adress above posters posted, it is differnet fo rifferent brands) without the password.

What it is asking for is your encryption key. Load up your wireless router software on your PC and locate your network settings. It should be listed in there.

try looking on the back of your router should be a sticker saying something like "wireless key" type that in that should do the trick
