My wireless adapter has suddenly stopped working: the light on it never turns green when I switch my 360 or try to sign in. This happened randomly the other day, when I turned the system on and it just didn't work. Should I return it, or is there a way to fix it?

BTW, the adapter is about 3 inches away from my router, so there's definitely nothing blocking it. Also, I have tried it in all the 360's USB ports, just to check if they were faulty, and it didn't work in any of them.

Um, I gotta go now, so if anyone could give me an answer it would be really great, so I don't have to wait til tomorrow to fix it.

Reset your router and modem. That means turn them both off for about 5 seconds, then fire up your modem first. Enjoy.

If your router is only 3 inches away, why not use an ethernet cord?

Why are you using the wireless adapter if it's 3 inches away from the router?? Why not just plug a cable in?

Well, at the moment my adapter is 3 inches away from my router, but I'm playing on my monitor (the only HD screen I have). When friends come over, I like to play on my bigger screen in a different room.

You block head, wireless has 20% more lag than wired. just play a game that gives you your actual lag time in milliseconds. instead of green bars.
