What are the best battery types/brands for the Xbox controller? Mine dies a lot.

And is the rechargeable set worth the money? Or is it just as good to use normal rechargeable batteries?

buy a rechargable one lol. the official microsoft rechargeable battery pack.

dont buy third party ones. sure they're cheap, but they die fast. ive had my microsoft one for almost 2 years now. still working and alive.

Buy the rechargeable set. Its worth the money. Its not too expensive, and saves you lots of money on batteries.

Get the official Mircosoft play and charge pack. I have two wireless controllers and I don't like always having to put AA batteries in the other controller because I currently only have one play and charge kit. I'm hoping that I'll get another one as a birthday gift this month. But for now, I have a HUGE pack of AA batteries.

buy microsoft play and charge kit... not off brand.... you be good to go. it runs at 7500mh (bigger the number the longer it can run) most recharge AA's run around 2100-2500. i had my battery pack since halo 3 came out and i get about 4-5 days of gaming out of it then i hook it up to my pc to charge it while i'm sleep

i got a nyko battery charger and 2 microsoft batteries, i always have 2 on the charger and two in da controller, the microsoft one does last longer but the nyko can last a good bit, i can tell you that if you have a one of those halo controllers the nyko brand batteries will not work in it, but any other controller it will which is weird but if you strapped for cash go with the nyko but if your not get the microsoft one, they are definatly worth it
