Wireless Controller Problem! NEED HELP!

Okay for the past week or so my wireless controller has gone crazy. I have 2 bars of battery left and the controller will start blinking in 2 seperate spots. Sometimes it will even disconnect out of nowhere. I play about 5 feet away from my 360 so the connection should be okay. Why is it doing this? I've also tried resincing it and it still does the same thing.

Your batteries are dying, its like when your cell phone beeps on a low battery you know its low but it still beeps until its dead, your controller is doing the same but it flashes it lights to futher help your batteries die.grvr316

I have had mine for 2 years, still working great so no they dont die after a couple of months

Yeah, great investment - I have a set for each controller I own.

i bought a new 360 in Jan 08, i recently only started to use the wireless controller that came with the console (had a 360 before, wanted to continue using my older controller until it broke or something)...my new wireless controller doesn't work properly with the rechargable batteries. I've resynced the controller many times, no difference. The rechargable batteries work with my other wireless controllers, but not the newest controller (that came with the console)...the wireless controller only works with AA batteries.

Anyone else having this problem? very weird.

"AA" is the size of the battery. It doesn't indicate whether it's rechargable or not.

I use Rayovac Hybrid rechargables in my controller, and they've been working fine for months. None of mine are very new, though.
