im planning on getting a 360, but ive heard that the wireless controllers arnt very good. Apparantly you have to keep them on charge and they dont last very long.

Depends on the batteries I suppose. Usually they last for around 20 hours, then you recharge.

I get a tonne of play out of my controllers.  I have the quick charge -- totally recommend it if you get a 360.  I have two controllers, too, which helps.  If one goes down, there's another.  I bought the two when I bought the machine, thinking I'd be playing with other people at my place.  Reality is, I almost only play multi-player over Live.  Not that I don't recommend getting a second controller, though.

I have the charging dock. 2 controllers and they last about 25 hours. Takes 4 hour to charge em. Just charge them when you go to bed or not playing.

I have never had a problem with mine. I get around 20 - 30 hours before I need to recharge.

There good. Last logn enough.

The only problem ive ever had was a buddy who lives next door to me brought his over to play for a bit, but when he turned it on, it actually turned his xbox on next door. Scared the crap out of his parents apparently.

exactly. I did the same, got 2 controllers, and find myself mainly playing over live.

Flippin' sweet controllers.  I've got 8 rechargeable AA batteries sitting around for different devices, so I'm never in need of new batteries as long as I recharge them when they're done.

On average, a set of rechargeables will last for a week of playing.  Well, that's with the limited playing I do.  If you're really playing hard, maybe three days.
