Hey guys, I can get the Xbox 360 Wireless headset for about $50, and I was wondering if it's worth it. Considering I could practically buy another game instead, and all the problems I heard about it, I was just looking for some opinions or maybe some experience. Thanks.
My friend bought one, he said it's a really good product but he doesn't think it's worth the money. I told him to take it back, get his money back and then get a wired one and keep the extra money, but he said now he can't go back to wired one lol. So I guess it's a good product that makes things a lot more convenient and easier but just isn't worth the money.
Ya, that seems to be the general feeling I'mgetting from everything I've read. I don't think I'm willing to spend the money right now on something I won't appreciate all that much. Not to mention - I'm pretty jealous that a game like Warhawk has the similar, bluetooth headset included. They should do the same for the 360's next big multiplayer game.
Mine works flawlessly. Most of the problems got fixed with a "driver" update in one of the seasonal updates. It's a convenience and it's nice not to have that wire there. For instance, it allows you to put down your controller, go take a leak, come back, etc without having to do anything else. Just a convenience thing.... it is a bit on the pricey side for what it is though, but I like it.
