Wireless headset sync issue

I've had an issue with my wireless headset recently. Basically the headset wouldnt sync with my Elite controller(player 1)and the green light would instead go onto player 2 so i couldnt hear anyone talking. I tried my other controller and that works fine. Its now works on my Elite controller but it was strange that it Decided it didnt want to work with that controller

Anyone else have this problem?

Did you sync it to the Xbox?

Yup but it fills quadrant 2 instead of 1

Have you had 2 controllers on at the same time?

Hmm... Well.... That seems pretty wierd... I'm not sure what else to do. :?

And you pressed the sync button to switch through the other positions, or whatever you wanna call them?

When i pressed the quadrant button on the headset it would go 2,3,4 and then back to 2. Instead of going 2,3,4,1
