im thinking on getting a new headset and i was thinking of getting the wireless one. I saw on gamestops' website that users, in total gave it 3.5 stars. Does anyone have one and would recomend it? Thanks.

i had one and ended up taking it back. the mic is very sensitive and will pick up the smallest sounds in your room also ive experienced problems with transmitting static when the battery was slightly drained the earpiece also drops sound every once and a while some people say their headsets work flawlessly but id buy one at a place with a good return policy just to be safe

its really nice but the only thing is if you dont have a back of wired mic then it will suck cause you wont be able to talk when its charging. But sometimes it kinda weired cause it will make weired noises and will like disconect for a second and you will hear the voices coming out through your tv speakers and then it will conect again nothing big but the only bad thing is how you have to charge it.

It's really great!! The new ones don't have the buzzing problem that the old batches had. They fixed all that. I have a new one and I never had one problem. I would say do it. It's very comfortable and you dont' even know you are wearing it. Go for it all the way!

I have had mine since last Christmas and it has worked flawlessly.  Once you hear the voice quality of the wireless mic compared to the wired it is hard to go back because there is a huge difference and not only can you hear people better with the wireless mic but they can hear you better.  The only cons to the mic are the battery life which lasts only a decent amount of time and the fact that if you want to talk you have to keeping pressing the button on the side of your headset or you have to leave it on.  I don't find this a problem though because my mic has been pretty good at not picking up minimal sounds like breathing so I can leave it on.

Mine works great, and consider it my favorite purchase for the 360. If you want to save some money, it can be had at Sams Club for under fifty bucks.

I get the random drops, the feedback, the short range and all the other bad stuff that comes with the mic but it's so much better than a wired headset I could never go back!  Until Logitech or another third party company comes out with a wireless mic (like the Logitech wireless mic for the 360

It picks up a lot of interference, especially if you have a other wireless items that are in the same room. I had mine for a day and took it back because it was not any good for me. You can buy it and be sure to ask what the return policy is and try it out, it might work for you, if it does not, take it back. Problem solved.

It's a good product overall. It's not perfect, but I'm glad I have one. But yes, you may want a backup wired headset so you'll have something to talk into if your battery dies. You can't talk while it's charging. But the sound in it is much louder and people can hear me better through it too. I haven't had a problem with background noise as one of the posters did.

The newer batchs of wireless mics don't buzz anymore, so go for it.. And for the guy who said every time he walks 20 feet from his xbox, it disconects.. Why do you need to be 20 feet from you xbox??

I used one and it's fine but I don't think good enough to justify the $60 over the fine wired one.
