Wireless Headsets Don't Work!!

Heres my story.

I came home from school and saw that my wired headset had snapped in half. I sticky taped it together i had it like that for a couple of days until the headset just died. That headset lasted for 1 and a half years and thats a long time. I went up to my local shops that have a dicksmith i walked in and walked out with a brand new wireless headset i was very pleased with myself. I got home and plugged them in to my xbox 360 to charge. Nothing happened. I read the instruction booklet and saw that it said that some lights should flash when it charges. I looked at my wireless headset and no lights were flashing. I thought to myself maybe that when you charge it the first time it doesnt flash so i left it in for six hours like it says in the booklet. I tried to turn it on. Nothing. I tried to sync it with the xbox. Nothing. So I concluded that that one was dead. So the next day i caught a bus to dicksmith and walked in saying my headset set doesnt work. They said "Have you done what it says in the instruction booklet?" I replied "Yes i have done everything it tells me to do in the booklet" They also concluded that it was dead. They gave me a new wireless headset because they didnt have any wired headsets in stock. I once again walked out of the store pleased with myself. I walked home because i was in a jolly mood. But as i got nearer to home it started to rain and it got heavier and heavier. By the time I got home i was all wet. I went over to my xbox and plugged the headset in and...... what ya know. It doesnt work. I was outraged. I stood up walked over to my 'Black Love Machine' (My PC) but realised that the internet on that wasnt working so i walked over to the 'White Death Machine' (The Stupid Mac) whose internet was working. I went on to gamespot and posted this story.

If anyone has any tips that may help me that would be very helpful.

And if not the moral of this story is 'Don't buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Headset because they usually don't work!'

Hmmm, very strange. Mine works fine, however can pick up alot of background noise which does bug me.

I don't know if you got bad luck or what, maybe your Xbox is messed up or something and not charging it.

im just really unlucky with technology. first time i got this dumb imac it was broken, i got cod5 my xbox broke, i got a pc it broke when i took it home and many of my accounts have been hacked into and now i cant play online with those games so this is just another addition to that list. and i almost forgot my internet on my pc is stuffed.
